Christmas Eve

He was created of a mother whom He created. He was carried by hands that He formed. He cried in the manger in wordless infancy. He, the Word, without whom all human eloquence is mute.          ~ Augustine

    1. Dear Katharine – 😀 I think he got it right on this one!
My daughter makes fun of me for keeping this nativity all these years. It must be close to 25 now since she made it, but it’s still my favorite Christmas decoration.
Hope your Christmas was filled with joy!

  1. I’m probably the only person who thinks this is a little too mystical and/or hard to grasp from my Earth Mind. xoxo Still, i will keep my human heart and soul open to the love!

    1. Dear Deb – My daughter made the nativity when she was 5 or 6. Felt like the right combination. 🙂
Merry, merry Christmas, my new dear sweet friend.

    1. Jeanne – Although I’ve read The Confessions, it was several years ago. I love going back and finding the joyful parts.
Merry Christmas to you, my new friend!
